I am extremely passionate about Indigenous issues, and all facets of Indigenous struggles. I have worked in Treaty Land Entitlement and Specific Lands claims, which allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge of the legal systems for First Nation land claims in Canada. However, this was not the beginning of my introduction to Indigenous politics. I grew up in a home that was surrounded and occupied with people heavily involved in Indigenous politics. I am inspired by the people who are responsible towards their society irrespective of their varied situations and circumstances.
